Prepare: Pour 1 cup of milk into a measuring cup.
Add 1 tbsp vinegar.
Let it sit until ready to use.
Cut butter in cubes.
SECOND:
Add and blend: Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place flour, salt, baking powder in a food processor.
Add butter cups and blend for 10 second or bit more. Butter should be still chunky.
THIRD:
Add more: Add milk mixture.
Blend until combined.
Add shredded cheese and thyme.
Blend for few seconds.
FOURTH:
Roll it: Take the dough onto a lightly flour surface.
Make it to a bowl.
Roll it with a rolling pin into a 1 inch thick rectangle.
FIFTH:
Fold and roll: Fold top side to 2/3 and fold bottom on top.
Then roll it again to 1 inch thick rectangle.
SIXTH:
Cut them: Cut the dough with a pasty cutter or glass into biscuits.
Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
BAKE THEM!
Brush and bake. Egg wash on the top.
Bake them for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
SERVE THEM.
Serve them. Serve warm along a glass of wine.
Freeze and reheat well.
