Prepare: Line a 9x13 inch cake pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter.
SECOND:
Mix it. In a stand mixer bowl place sugar, yeast, warm water and egg.
Mix it for a few second.
THIRD:
Mix it more. Changed to a dough hook.
Add 1/3 flour and mix it.
Add salt, melted butter and rest of the flour.
Mix it for 5 minutes.
BAKE IT:
Knead and rest. Put the dough onto flour surface.
Knead it for a minute.
Then shape it to a ball.
Put the dough back in the bowl.
Coated dough and bowl with oil.
Cover with a plastic wrap and let rise for 1 1/2 hours in a warm and draft-free area.
FIFTH:
Shape it. Take out the dough and put onto lightly floured surface.
Use rolling pin to roll it to 9”x12”rectangular shape.
Spread soft butter on the dough.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over it.
Roll it lengthwise.
SISXTH
Cut and rest. Cut the roll in 8 pieces.
Place the pieces onto the prepared pan, cut side up.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.
BAKE IT!
Bake it. Preheat oven to 400°F.
Bake it for 10 minutes.
Then lower the temperature to 350°F.
Bake it for another 10 minutes.
Take it out from the oven.
Let it rest in the pan.
Meanwhile prepare glazing.
GLAZE IT!
Glaze it. Melt butter.
Place powder sugar, milk, vanilla extract, melted butter in a small bowl.
Whisk it until smooth.
Drizzle over the warm cinnamon roll.
