8 tbsp butterroom temperature
1 1/4 cup flour
1 cup parmesan cheese graded
1/4 tsp salt
few grind of pepper
2 tsp thymeleaves only

LET'S START:
Prepare. Cut butter into small cubes. Let it sit so butter is at room temperature.
Graded cheese.
Prepared parchment paper lined baking sheet.
SECOND:
Combine it. Combine flour, cheese, salt, pepper, thyme in a mixing bowl.
Add butter.
THIRD:
Work it. Using your hands, work the butter into the flour mixture until dough comes together.
This might take a while, but it is so worth it.
FORTH:
Shape it. Put dough onto flat surface and shape it into a 7 inches long roll.
Wrap this roll with plastic wrap.
Then roll it a few times to compact the dough a bit more.
Rest your dough in the refrigerator for one hour.
FIFTH:
Cut crackers. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Unwrap dough and cut it in 1/4 inch thin slices.
You now have crackers! Place the crackers onto the prepared baking sheet.
BAKE THEM!
Bake them. Bake them for 20 minutes.
Let them cool on rack.
EAT THEM.
Enjoy your Thyme & Cheese Crackers with wine or champagne. It is an great appetizer when having friends over for dinner.
