    Ingredients

YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup heavy cream
4 egg yolks
3 tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract

LET'S START:

  • cremeanglaise

Prepare:
Place 1 cup of heavy cream in a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil.

In a medium bowl place egg yolks, sugar, vanilla extract.
Whisk it.

SECOND:

  • cremeanglaise

Add and mix.
Add the hot milk into the egg mixture.
Mix it well.

THIRD:

  • cremeanglaise

Pour and heat.
Pour the mixture through the strainer back into the saucepan.
Over the medium heat cook it.
Whisk constantly until smooth cream.
Put a spoon in to the mixture. It is ready when the cream sticks to the spoon.

SERVE IT.

  • cremeanglaise

Serve it.

To store in the refrigerator, put a plastic wrap onto the cream.
This will prevent forming skin on the Crème Anglaise.
