2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/3 cup canola oil
1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
about 1 1/2 cup milk
Prepare. Put 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar into your measuring cup.
Add milk till it reaches 1 1/2 cup.
Let it sit for 5 minutes.
The milk will curdle like buttermilk.
Chop the dates.
Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
SECOND:
Combine and mix. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, salt, walnuts and dates in a large bowl.
Mix it well.
THIRD:
Add and mix. Add the prepared buttermilk and oil.
Mix well with spatula.
BAKE IT.
Pour and bake it. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.
Bake it about 50-60 minutes.
Insert a skewer in the middle of the bread when it comes out clean it’s done.
Cool in a pan for 10 minutes.
Then take it out of the pan and let cool on rack.
SERVE IT:
Serve it. Serve it for breakfast or along with soup or salad or fruits and cheese.
