For the Apple Tart Crust:
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
8 tbsp butter
4 tbsp iced water
For Tart Topping:
4-5 granny smith apple
2 tbsp butter cut into small pieces
1 tbsp sugar
For the Glazing
4 tbsp apricot jam
1 tbsp rum

LET'S START:
Make the dough. Mix together flour, sugar, butter for a few second using food processor. Add iced water and blend until dough is coming together. Wrap the dough into plastic wrap. Cool it for 2 hours or more.
SECOND:
Two plus hours later. Preheat oven 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel apples and take core out. Slice apples very thin.
THIRD
Bake it.
Take the dough out from the refrigerator. Roll it about 10x15 inches and place onto prepared baking sheet. Place the apples into the dough in a 45 degree angles. Sprinkle butter and sugar over it. Bake french apple tart for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
FOURTH.
Glaze it Place jam and rum in a small saucepan. Heat them until just started to boil.
When tart done take it out of the oven. Brush the glazing over the apple tart.
