    Ingredients

YOU WILL NEED:

2 cups water
1 teabag black tea
1/2 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 orange
10 cloves
1 slice lemon
1 bottle red wine Bordeaux
3 Tbsp dark rum optional

LET'S START:

  • blinis

At medium heat:
1. Heat water, steep tea bag for 3 minutes.
2. After taken tea bag out, add sugar, stir till dissolve.
3. Add cinnamon stick.
4. Cut orange in half, squeeze the juice of one half directly into the pot.
5. Cut of two round slices off the other half and put into the pot.
5. Stick the cloves into the orange skin of the remaining orange and put into the pot.

SECOND:

  • blinis

At simmer:
Turn heat down to sim and wait a bit.
1. Add the wine.
2. Add lemon slice and dark rum.
3. Let simmer for 20 minutes with pot half covered.
Do not bring to boil at any time.
4. Keep on simmer and serve.

SERVE IT.

  • blinis

Ready to enjoy.
Keep Glühwein on simmer. Never bring to boil.
Best to enjoy outside in the snow around a fire pit.
