8 tbsp unsalted butter room temperature
4 oz cream cheese room temperature
1/2 cup powder sugar
1 egg lemon zest of one lemon
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Prepare: Zest one lemon.
Squeeze lemon juice.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
SECOND:
Add and mix it. Place butter, cream cheese, 1/4 cup of powder sugar into a food processor.
Mix it for a few seconds.
Add 1/4 cup until sugar is no longer visible.
Add egg, lemon zest, lemon juice and mix it until creamy mixture.
Add 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder and mix it.
Add another 1/2 cup flour and just combine it.
THIRD:
Shape them. Scoop out dough one table spoon at a time and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
They will be little messy balls but no worries they will be smooth and flat later.
BAKE THEM:
Bake them. Bake them for 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Cool them off on the baking sheet.
Sprinkle powder sugar to serve.
SERVE THEM.
