2 1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs cocoa powder
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
Set side.
SECOND:
Beat it: In a large bowl beat butter and sugar using hand mixer for 2-3 minutes or until fluffy.
Scrap if needed.
Add an egg at a time continue to beat.
Add vanilla extract and sour cream.
Beat more.
THIRD
Mix it: Add half of the flour mixture add half of the milk.
Stir with a spatula.
Then add rest of flour and milk.
Just fold it.
FOURTH
Take and add: Take out about half of the batter and put it into a medium bowl.
Add cocoa powder.
Stir it with a spatula.
FIFTH
Combine: Spread the vanilla batter thinly on the bottom of a prepared loaf pan.
Then spoon the chocolate batter on top, spoon the vanilla batter right next it continue until done.
Don’t worry it doesn’t have to be perfect. Then use a knife to draw circle into the batter.
This makes the swirls. Don’t over work it.
BAKE IT:
Bake it: Bake it for 40-50 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Then take it out of the pan and let cool on rack.
SERVE IT.
Serve it: Serve it with your favorite tea.
