Prepare: Preheat oven 350°F
Butter and flour a 6 inch cake pan.
SECOND:
Mix it: Place oil, sugar, egg, in a medium bowl.
Mix it well.
THIRD
Shift and fold: Shift in flour, baking powder and matcha into the egg mixture.
Fold it using spatula.
BAKE IT:
Pour and bake it: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake it for 50-60 minutes.
Insert a skewer in the middle of the cake. When it comes out clean it is done.
SERVE IT.
Serve it: Powder confectioners sugar over the cake right before serving.
Serve the Matcha Cake with your favorite tea in the early afternoon.
