    Ingredients

YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup flour
4 tbsp sugar
3 tsp matcha(green tea powder)
7 tbsp butter

LET'S START:

  • Matcha Cookies

Prepare.
Prepared parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Cut butter into small cubes. Let it sit so butter is at room temperature.

SECOND:

  • Matcha Cookies

Combine it.
Sift flour and matcha into a mixing bowl.
Add sugar and butter.

THIRD:

  • Matcha Cookies

Work it.
Using your hands, work the butter into the flour mixture until dough comes together.
This might take a while, but it is so worth it.

FORTH:

  • Matcha Cookies

Shape it.
Put dough onto flat surface and shape it into a roll.
1 1/2 inches round x 7 inches long.
Wrap this roll with plastic wrap.
Rest your dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

FIFTH:

  • Matcha Cookies

Cut cookies.
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Unwrap dough and cut it in 1/4 inch thin slices.
You now have cookies!
Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.

BAKE THEM!

  • Matcha Cookies

Bake them.
Bake them for 20 minutes.
Let them cool on rack.

EAT THEM.
