LET'S START:
Prepare. Prepared parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Cut butter into small cubes. Let it sit so butter is at room temperature.
SECOND:
Combine it. Sift flour and matcha into a mixing bowl.
Add sugar and butter.
THIRD:
Work it. Using your hands, work the butter into the flour mixture until dough comes together.
This might take a while, but it is so worth it.
FORTH:
Shape it. Put dough onto flat surface and shape it into a roll.
1 1/2 inches round x 7 inches long. Wrap this roll with plastic wrap.
Rest your dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
FIFTH:
Cut cookies. Preheat oven to 325°F.
Unwrap dough and cut it in 1/4 inch thin slices.
You now have cookies! Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.
BAKE THEM!
Bake them. Bake them for 20 minutes.
Let them cool on rack.
