1/2 cup butterroom temperature
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking power
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 cup raisins, chocolate chips optional
1 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

LET'S START:
Prepare. Take butter out and let it sit so butter is at room temperature.
Prepared 2 baking sheets with parchment papers.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
SECOND:
Mix it.
1. Place the butter and sugar in a bowl, using stand mixer or hand mixer until combined.
2. Add egg, vanilla and mix about a minutes on fast speed.
3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon lower the speed until combined.
4. Add rolled oats and raisins, chocolate chips (optional) using spatula to fold them.
THIRD:
Shape them. Scoop 1 Tbsp into your hand make a round ball.
Place it into prepared baking sheets.
Press it down so they have a cookie shape.
Repeat until all done.
BAKE THEM!
Bake them. Bake them for 8-10 minutes.
Let cookies rest for 10 minutes on baking sheet.
Then move them to a rack and let them cool completely.
