2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup mashed butternuts squash
1/3 cup milk
5 tbsp butter melted
2 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup raisin

LET'S START:
Mash it: Peel, core and cut butternut squash.
Steam butternut squash until soft and mashed it.
Set aside.
SECOND:
Prepare: Grease 8 1/2 inch loaf pan with butter and flour.
Melt butter.
THIRD:
Combine it: Place flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt whisk together in a medium bowl.
Whisk mashed butternut squash, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.
Add flour mixture until combine.
Add walnuts, raisins and just fold them in.
BAKE IT:
Bake it: Spread dough into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake it for 60 minutes. Check if done by inserting wooden skewer in the center of the bread - when it comes out clean, it's done.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then take it out and cool completely on wire rack.
SERVE IT.
Ready to eat. Serve it as side dish or with butter as a starter.
