Prepare. Soften butter at room temperature.
Warm milk.
Place the warm milk and yeast in a large bowl.
Let it rest for 5 minutes.
SECOND:
Add and mix. Add butter, honey, eggs and salt.
Mix it with a wooden spoon.
THIRD:
Add and mix more. Add flour.
Mix it.
FOURTH:
Knead it. Take out the dough from the bowl on a lightly flour surface.
Knead it with your hand for 7 minutes.
If the dough is too sticky, add more flour. Shape the dough into a ball.
Put dough in lightly oiled bowl and turn the dough to coat.
Cover bowl with a clean kitchen towel.
Let dough rise for 1 1/2 hour or double in size in warm, draft free area.
FIFTH:
Shape it. Line a 10" cast iron pan with parchment paper.
Punch down the dough.
Cut it into 8 pieces.
Roll each to a ball.
Arrange all the balls into the prepared pan.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let rest for 30 minutes or double in size in warm, draft free area.
BAKE IT:
Bake it and then brush it. Preheat oven 350°F.
Bake it for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven.
Melt butter and brush the melted butter on top.
Sprinkle salt over the buttered bread.
Let it cool for a few minutes on a rack.
SERVE IT:
Serve it. Serve it warm for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
